  • Lindane Lotion

The unique fragrance or smell of neem oil prevents scabies from regrowing which can greatly reduce the duration of scabies. Apply pure neem oil on affected area of skin and massage thoroughly until neem oil completely penetrates into the skin.

  2. Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca Oil) for Scabies

    Scabies Treatment with Tea Tree Oil (TTO) is very popular for the treatment of number of skin problems because it conatins terpinen that effectively kills scabies parasite. Tea tree oil also contains volatile oils which have anti-inflammatory, disinfectant, antiseptic, antiparasitic, antibacterial, antifungal and wound-healing qualities making tea tree oil more effective for skin problems. Now add a little amount of water in it to make a fine paste. Apply this paste on affected area of skin and leave it for at least one hour. After one hour remove the paste thoroughly with lukewarm water and dry the skin.

  1. Practice personal hygiene strictly.
  2. Having access to clean water supply limits your potential for exposure.
  3. Don’t share towels, bedding, or clothing with others.
  4. Limit your time in overcrowded areas where people are in closed spaces.
  5. Remove infested clothing and bedding to avoid exposure to scabies.
  6. Avoid sharing a bed with a person who has scabies.
  7. Limit sex partners or have monogamous relationship to reduce the scabies risk.
  8. Practice intervention at the first sign of a possible concern.
